Strowman shocked the world with the way that he won the championships against former title-holders Cesaro and Sheamus at WrestleMania.
The Monster Among Men was told he needs a partner in order to challenge The Bar for the belts.
Strowman then picked a kid from the audience to team up with him and practically won the titles on his own.
It was certain that his reign would be short as 10-year-old Nicholas isn’t allowed to compete in WWE.
So Strowman and the fourth-grader had to relinquish the belts.
Strowman told on-screen RAW General Manager Kurt Angle: “It pains me to even think about this, much less say it.
“But we’re relinquishing the RAW tag titles.
“Nicholas has a scheduling conflict. I mean, he’s still in the fourth grade.
“But I can promise you one thing, as soon as he’s done with school we’re coming back for those.”
Young Nicholas agreed with Strowman’s statement.
He added: “And somebody’s going to get these hands.”
Angle then announced that four teams would compete in a Tag Team Eliminator tournament and the winners will face former champions Cesaro and Sheamus for the titles at the Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia.
The Revival beat Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson in the first match of the tournament.
WWE recently announced that Cesaro and Sheamus would face The Hardy Boyz for the RAW tag Team titles in Jeddah so the result of the tournament may have been spoiled.
