During an appearance on Bulgarian TV last week the ex-US Champion was asked by the host what was his best ever WWE feud.
The Bulgarian Brute stated that his favourite rival was Cena, with whom he also clashed at WrestleMania 31.
The presented then said: “Speaking of John Cena, by the way, I’ve watched some of his Hollywood work.
“And he is a superstar in American movies as well.”
Rusev seemed very unimpressed by the statement and voiced his disagreement in the hilarious video below:
Cena is building up a career in Hollywood after appearing in movies like Daddy’s Home 2, Trainwreck and Ferdinand – which was nominated for an Academy Award.
The 16-time world champion has also worked with the likes of Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg and Amy Schumer.
Rusev is one of the most popular superstars in WWE as he has formed legions of fans thanks to his Rusev Day gimmick.
The WWE Universe cheer for him around the globe even though he wrestles as a heel (villain).
His partner Aiden English as well as his wife Lana are also getting a lot of support from the audience even though they also don’t wrestle as babyfaces (good guys).
The Super Athlete will compete in the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match on June 17 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.
He will face Kevin Owens, Bobby Roode, Braun Strowman, The Miz and Finn Balor.
Daniel Bryan and Samoa Joe will clash for the final spot in the match and The New Day will have to decide which one of their members will join the action – rumours suggest it will be Big E.
