Transfer News: Man United ace wants to leave, Chelsea defender battle, Arsenal uncertainty

Luke Shaw wants to leave Manchester United after failing to win a place under Jose Mourinho.

Shaw has struggled under Mourinho this term after suffering a leg break last season.

The left-back has failed to make his mark and now cannot even get in the match day squad.

Marcos Rojo played left back yesterday in the EFL Cup while Matteo Darmian and Daley Blind have both also played more often than Shaw.

And, according to Squawka, he now wants out and growing tired of waiting for a chance.

Chelsea want to pip AC Milan to Villarreal defender Mateo Musacchio this summer, according to reports.

The defender looks set to join Milan but, according to the Sun, Chelsea are hoping to sneak in and seal a deal for the centre-back.

The 26-year-old Argentina international is on Antonio Conte’s radar as he looks to add to his defensive options.

John Terry looks set to end his Chelsea career when his contract is up in the summer.

And Musacchio would compete with Gary Cahill, Cesar Azpilicueta, David Luiz, Kurt Zouma, Nathan Ake and Andreas Christensen.

Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has admitted he is uncertain over his future.

The Poland stopper is on his second loan spell at Roma and could leave permanently in the summer.

“I play for Roma, but I don’t stop supporting Arsenal,” he said.

“I watch their matches again, sometimes with joy. I do not know how my future will look like.

“The last year and a half in Italy were not the worst, but to me at least another four months at Roma, so I focus on the good performances. I just think about playing well and not where I will play.

“The future will be in my hands. I do not wonder what will happen in June, just in Sunday’s meeting in Milan.”
