Elite Colleges Expand Efforts to Enroll and Support Low-Income Students

A growing group of highly ranked colleges and universities have joined an effort to bring in more low- and moderate-income students. And as more needy students enroll, the schools are helping with costs beyond tuition, such as those for art supplies or meals, and working to close graduation gaps.
