Ceballos moved to the Bernabeu from La Liga rivals Real Betis over the summer after impressing for Spain at the European Under-21 Championship.
He’s found chances hard to come by under Zinedine Zidane though and is said to be growing frustrated with life at Real.
Ceballos was courted by Barcelona before heading to the Spanish capital back in July.
The latest reports suggest he could now be offered the chance to join Liverpool as Jurgen Klopp plans for life without Philippe Coutinho.
According to Spanish outlet Diario Gol, Real captain Ramos has learnt of the Reds’ interest in signing Ceballos.
And he’s apparently not hesitated to pass this news on to Perez, who was the driving force behind him joining the Club World Cup champions.
Liverpool are believed to be weighing up their options with Coutinho continually linked with Barcelona and Sergi Roberto not available in part-exchange.
And that has seen Klopp target Ceballos with a massive hole potentially being opened up by Coutinho’s prospective departure.
Whether Real would be willing to let the 21-year-old move on during the transfer window remains to be seen.
Diario Gol claim the most likely scenario would be a loan switch to Anfield, a deal that Ramos would be content to see happen.
