Paris Saint-Germain to sign either Kylian Mbappe or Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez – report

PSG shattered the transfer record on Wednesday with their £200million signing of Neymar.

The club presented their new star striker on Friday but he is not eligible to play against Amiens today.

However, Neymar is not the only big-name player PSG are interested in bringing to the Parc des Princes.

According to French outlet Le 10 Sport, PSG are ready to sign either Mbappe or Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez this summer.

Monaco don’t want to sell Mbappe but may reluctantly agree to a deal if a sizeable offer comes in before deadline day.

Real Madrid are said to be plotting a move for the player but Le 10 Sport claim Monaco will demand £162m for their playmaker.

Money appears to be no barrier for PSG, who believe they have remained within the rules of Financial Fair Play despite paying Barca the full Neymar fee up front this week.

Barcelona have also been linked with the 18-year-old as they seek to reinvest the Neymar money in a replacement goalscorer.

The report claims Sanchez is still a target of PSG’s but Mbappe is preferred.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has insisted on numerous occasions that he will not sell Sanchez this summer.

That is despite the fact Sanchez’s contract will expire at the end of the season, meaning he would leave the Gunners on a free transfer unless fresh terms are signed.
