Neymar: PSG star tells Real Madrid he wants more money than Cristiano Ronaldo to join

PSG only signed Neymar from Barcelona back in the summer but, despite the player being just six months into a five-year deal, the player could be on the move.

Real Madrid are determined to lure him to the Bernabeu, particularly with Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema all struggling for form.

But Spanish outlet Don Balon claim the La Liga giants will have to break the bank if they are to successfully entice Neymar away from PSG.

And his financial demands are also set to leave Ronaldo reeling.

The former Manchester United star remains top dog at the Bernabeu despite failing to hit his usual lofty heights so far.

Reports have claimed the Portugal international wants a pay rise to match the salary Lionel Messi receives at Barcelona.

And Don Balon say Neymar’s Real Madrid demand could worsen Ronaldo’s situation with club chiefs.

It is said he wants a huge £44million a year to make the move back to La Liga.

That works out at an eye-watering £36million a month.

Real will now have to sit down and decide whether to dance to Neymar’s tune.

But they have plenty of alternatives in mind should they opt to invest their cash on someone else.

Chelsea forward Eden Hazard has made little secret of his desire to join.

And Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah could also make the leap to Spain’s top flight.
