The report says United have lined up a £51million bid for the former Wolfsburg and Borussia Dortmund man.

has been granted the funds in order to strengthen his side and better compete at the top of the table next season

And Perisic is said to be one of Mourinho’s priority signings for the summer transfer window.

United have reportedly been pursuing the winger for weeks and are ready to accelerate the deal to ward off Chelsea.

Inter’s new Chinese owners are said to be open to the deal as they attempt to comply with financial fair play rules.

The Italian club have ruled out the sale of Mauro Icardi, meaning Perisic is their only viable option for recouping some serious funds.

The Serie A side have reportedly already begun preparations to replace Perisic.

The report says Sassuolo’s Domenico Berardi and Fiorentina’s Federico Bernardeschi are both on their radar.

Perisic is under contract at the San Siro until June 2020.
