Manchester United handed huge injury boost ahead of Celta Vigo clash as stars return

take on Celta Vigo in the first leg of their Europa League semi-final clash tomorrow night (8.05pm).

And huge question marks surrounded what team Jose Mourinho would put out after the squad has been ravaged by injuries in recent weeks.

However, the Red Devils have been handed a timely injury boost with Eric Bailly, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones and Paul Pogba all spotted in training today.

The return of the three defenders in particular will be music to many United fans’ ears after they were left threadbare at the back.

Mourinho was expected to have to play a makeshift back-four consisting of Antonio Valencia, Matteo Darmian, Michael Carrick and Ashley Young.

However, this may no longer be the case with a number of the Red Devils’ first-team regulars coming back into the equation.

The return of influential midfielder Pogba is also good news for United after he missed their last two Premier League games with a hamstring problem.

Up top, the Red Devils have a full compliment aside from the long-term injured Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Wayne Rooney has stepped up in the Swede’s absence and has scored twice in his last three outings, against Burnley and Swansea.
