That is the opinion of ESPN FC pundit and former Major League Soccer star Alejandro Moreno.
Pogba has been linked with a move away from Manchester United in recent weeks.
The Frenchman has been starved off starts under Jose Mourinho of late due to fitness and tactical reasons.
Mourinho famously sold De Bruyne and sent Salah out on loan twice during his second spell in charge of Chelsea.
The pair have since returned to the Premier League with Manchester City and Liverpool in stunning fashion.
But Moreno says it would be different if Pogba left, because he is older than when the duo played under Mourinho.
“I think Paul Pogba was a far more established player than both of those players that you have mentioned when they were in the hands of Jose Mourinho,” Moreno said.
“So I think his resume as a player was far stronger coming into Manchester United, so therefore the expectations were much higher.”
Mourinho and Pogba are reportedly not on speaking terms currently and Moreno fully understands the midfielder taking that stance.
“I think it’s a combination of both Mourinho and Pogba here and a little bit of Pogba feeling left out and needing someone to hug him and Mourinho not being the guy who hugs and loves here and there and everywhere,” he added.
“Can I just say that, inside a locker room, if your manager is not playing you, why are you going to be talky talky? Honestly?
“If a manager doesn’t trust me to play me in the biggest games, I have no business whatsoever wanting to have any conversation with him other than ‘good morning’ and ‘good night’ and ‘see you later’.”
