Man Utd news: Giggs gives Mourinho title hope with shock Swansea vs Man City prediction

That is the view of Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs, who has given his former side some hope for the title.

Manchester City’s 2-1 win over United on Sunday took them 11 points clear of Jose Mourinho’s side at the top of the table.

Pep Guardiola’s team are unbeaten in the league this term and now hold the record for the most consecutive wins in a Premier League season.

Giggs initially predicted a win for City at the Liberty Stadium this evening.

However, maybe more out of hope than expectation, he changed his mind and instead plumped for a 1-1 draw against the basement club.

“I’ll go with City,” he told Sky Sports’ Super 6.

“No I’ll go for a draw, 1-1. Upset.”

Manchester United will look to close the gap on City when Bournemouth visit Old Trafford tonight (8pm).

Giggs has predicted a 2-0 win for the Red Devils.

In tonight’s other fixtures, Giggs has gone for a 2-0 Liverpool win over West Brom and a 3-0 win for Tottenham at home to Brighton.

However, he cannot see Arsenal winning at West Ham and has backed the Hammers to follow-up their 1-0 at home to Chelsea with a 2-2 draw at the London Stadium.

Giggs reckons Leicester boss Claude Puel will get one over his former side Southampton tonight with a 2-1 win.
