Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial will be absent for Manchester United’s Europa League last-16 second leg, but top scorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic is in line to start against Rostov.

Rooney and Martial missed Monday’s FA Cup quarter-final at Chelsea through injury, and Jose Mourinho confirmed both will be sidelined despite the latter training last night.

Martial, Luke Shaw and Bastian Schweinsteiger trained away from the main group, which included Ibrahimovic after missing the trip to Stamford Bridge through domestic suspension.
