Manchester United are reportedly hoping Tottenham’s interest in Michael Keane will aid their pursuit of £40million-rated Eric Dier.
Spurs are one of a number of clubs chasing Keane.
Although the north London outfit are reluctant to let Dier or any other player leave White Hart Lane this summer, Mourinho has a plan up his sleeve.
Dier has predominantly operated as a defender this term, but the Daily Telegraph claim Mourinho will promise to play him in midfield were he to join.
Romelu Lukaku has admitted he regularly watches the in-house TV channels of some of Europe’s top clubs.
The Everton striker is set to spark a bidding war, with Manchester United and Chelsea keen.
Everton are thought to have slapped a £100m price-tag on him.
And Lukaku has added fuelled speculation with these comments.
“I can never have enough of football,” Lukaku told Belgian outlet Sport/Foot.
“I eat it from the moment I wake up until I go to sleep.
“I’m subscribed to everything you can think of: Chelsea TV, Manchester United TV, Real Madrid TV.”
Mourinho has confirmed Sergio Romero will start in goal for United tonight (8.05pm) for their Europa League tie against Anderlecht.
Romero has played second fiddle to David De Gea this season.
And Mourinho has confirmed the Argentine will play, but isn’t guaranteed a starting spot for the rest of the campaign.
He said: “He’s not my goalkeeper for the Europa League. He’s my goalkeeper for tomorrow.
“He was my goalkeeper in the other matches, but he’s not my goalkeeper for the Europa League. I never like to do that complete separation.”
