Liverpool team news: Reds look sharp in training but Coutinho and Lovren absent

Jurgen Klopp’s side enjoyed a floodlit session at Melwood on Tuesday evening.

The likes of James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Daniel Sturridge were all pictured being put through their paces.

However, while Klopp had hoped Philippe Coutinho and Dejan Lovren would be able to feature against Maribor, the duo were absent from the session.

Coutinho is suffering from an adductor muscle problem, while Lovren was forced to pull out of the warm-up before Liverpool’s win over Huddersfield with a thigh injury.
