Live: Supercars Newcastle 500, Qualifying

WELCOME to our live coverage of all the Supercars action at the 2017 Coates Hire Newcastle 500.

The two title contenders ended Friday first and second, Scott McLaughlin four tenths of a second clear of Jamie Whincup as he tries to overturn a 30-point championship deficit heading into Saturday’s penultimate race of the season.

The schedule for Saturday (all times AEDT):
11:00pm – Qualifying for Race 25 (20 min)
3:45pm – Race 25 (95 laps, or 1 lap after 5:47pm)
