Leeds transfer news: West Ham and Stoke leading race to sign £15m-rated Chris Wood

Wood, 25, has been in sensational form for Leeds this season – scoring 30 goals in all competitions for the Championship side.

And his impressive goalscoring form has not gone unnoticed with the Daily Mirror claiming West Ham and Stoke are interested in securing his signature.

It is suggested that West Ham and Stoke are leading the race to sign the New Zealand international.

Wood, who has been valued at £15million, has two years remaining on his current deal at Elland Road.

But his head could be turned by interest from the Premier League after ‘ failed bid to reach the Championship play-offs.

However, the Hammers and the Potters could face competition in their bid to sign Wood.

Swansea and Southampton have apparently expressed an interest too.
