History will be made on the Gold Coast this afternoon as Brisbane and Adelaide do battle for the inaugural AFLW Grand Final premiership.

A good crowd has travelled to Metricon Stadium on the Gold Coast from Brisbane after the Queensland Government confirmed all public transport was free in a bid to encourage Lions fans to travel across for the match.

The undefeated Lions take on the Crows as part of a football double-header.

The AFL’s round one clash between Brisbane and the Gold Coast will be held at the same venue from 7.05pm AEST.
