HAWTHORN has dominated the AFL for much of the past decade.
So it’s fair to say rival fans thoroughly enjoyed seeing Port Adelaide pour on 9.8 (62) to 0.3 (3) in the first half at Adelaide Oval on Thursday night.
In fact, the Hawks 0.3 (3) was the club’s lowest half-time score in HISTORY.
The Power kept the visitors scoreless in the first term, the first time they have achieved such a feat – against any club – it their history.
Hawthorn’s disastrous first half lit up social media, with many revelling in the chaos.
Oh dear!
0.3 (3) is Hawthorn’s lowest half-time score in club history.#AFLPowerHawks

Port might be ok but Dogs took an 88-4 lead into half time in 2009. Power need to work on their offence. #AFLPowerHawks
