However, whiel the 24-year-old attempted to lay low at the event, he remained somewhat conspicuous in his ringside seat thanks to his unusual attire.
Express Sport were able to snap Payne wearing a bright red and yellow t-shirt with the logo of delivery firm DHL emblazoned on the front.
Payne was catapulted to fame as part of X Factor graduates “One Direction”.
The boyband did not win the competition but quickly shot to the top of the charts after forming during the show in 2010.
Payne has since branched out into a solo career and most recently released a song with Rita Ora for the film “Fifty Shades Freed” entitled “For You”.
But the former 1D star did not seem particularly enamoured with the action staying for just one fight before retreating backstage again.
