CROWD behaviour at the Adelaide Oval is again in the spotlight after a flare was let off at the Geelong v Adelaide match on Friday night.

Stunning vision has emerged of the incident, with security trying to contain the situation on the Adelaide Oval Hill during the last quarter.

Former first class cricketer Theo Doropoulous was the first to post vision of the flare on social media.

That was followed by fan vision emerging, with supporters blanketed by smoke.

Former Adelaide captain Mark Ricciuto spotted the flare while he was commentating on Triple M and remarked, “That’s unusual and ridiculous”.

Veteran journalist Stephen Quartermain tweeted his disgust at the behaviour.
