THE Western Bulldogs’ indigenous jumper has confused commentators before the ball has even been bounced.

The numbers on the back of the jumper are difficult to see at the ground and commentators positioned on the third level of the stadium have labelled the colouring of the guernsey as “ridiculous”.

“Blue on blue is a bit of a blue,” Wayne Carey said on Triple M.

Fellow broadcaster James Brayshaw said it was “ridiculous”.

“With this particular one, surely someone at the AFL in operations there has seen it and said ‘you know what? You’ve got to have a different colour number.
