PREMIERSHIP coach Paul Roos has distanced himself from a return to the AFL’s senior coaching ranks.
Roos will likely be in demand for any clubs searching for a new senior coach at season’s end, with pressure already mounting at winless Collingwood, Gold Coast and Fremantle.

Roos steered Sydney to its 2005 premiership and was lauded for his role helping transform Melbourne from a basket case to emerging finals aspirant over the past three years.
Roos said he was enjoying working in the media with Triple M and Fox Footy this year and had no plans to coach a third club in 2018.
“I love coming in and talking about football, and we’re all fortunate to be in the industry, to be honest,” Roos said on Triple M on Sunday.

“It’s a great industry to be in — it’s healthy, it’s vibrant, it’s great to be able to come to the foot and talk about it.
“But coaching’s on another level.”
Roos said he was unsure if he wanted to subject himself to the demands and pressures of the senior coaching world again.
“You see ‘Rocket’ (Eade) go through what we went through yesterday (Saturday),” he said.
“You can already tell when we’re talking to ‘Bolts’ (Brendan Bolton) … but you can sort of see the difficulties of coaching. You have to be all-in, you can’t be 80 per cent or 90 per cent.
“I’m loving what I’m doing, and I can’t see myself doing it (coaching) again.”
