Aston Villa owner Tony Xia drops big hint Axel Tuanzebe deal is done

Tuanzebe, 20, could make his debut on Tuesday when Villa travel to fellow Championship promotion hopefuls Sheffield United (7.45pm).

He becomes Steve Bruce’s first signing of the January transfer window – and the 24th of the Tony Xia era.

“I am delighted to be here,” he said.

“It’s an exciting time at this football club and everyone is pushing for promotion – that’s the big aim, you can feel that here.

“I am determined to help this club achieve its goal.”
