Terry, 36, is leaving Chelsea at the end of this season when his current deal runs out, after 22 years at the club.
But current team captain Gary Cahill is still struggling with the sickness bug and is almost certain to miss tomorrow’s Wembley clash.
Antonio Conte’s squad have been swept by the virus since the end of last week, with Marcos Alonso, Victor Moses and Diego Costa also hit, but Cahill contracted the bug on Tuesday and has still not recovered.
Terry has started only five league games this season but has played in three of Chelsea’s cup games so far.
Conte could opt for Kurt Zouma but he had a poor game in the 2-0 defeat at Manchester United on Sunday and his other option, Nathan Ake, has made only two appearances since returning from loan at Bournemouth.
