WWE news: HUGE Asuka update ahead of WrestleMania 34 dream match against Charlotte Flair

The RAW superstar will take on Charlotte on April 8 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Asuka won the first ever women’s Royal Rumble match two months ago and earned an opportunity to face either Women’s Champion at WrestleMania.

Many expected the undefeated superstar to go after RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss.

But the Empress of Tomorrow had other plans as she made a shock appearance at Fastlane last Sunday to challenge Charlotte after her successful title defence against Ruby Riott.

Asuka still showed up on RAW the next night where she beat Mickie James in a gruelling encounter.

She then made her Smackdown debut on Tuesday where she told The Queen she bows to no one ahead of their match at Mania.

WWE still have Asuka listed as a RAW superstar but, according to Give Me Sport, the Royal Rumble winner will move to the blue brand if she ends Charlotte’s reign.

Rumours suggest The Empress of Tomorrow will win the title and also take take out Carmella who could cash in her Money in the Bank briefcase immediately after the match.

Asuka hasn’t lost a single match since 2015 and has beaten the likes of Sasha Banks, Nia Jax and Bliss.
