Strowman did the unthinkable last Monday night on RAW as he won an over-the-top-rope challenge by himself to earn the opportunity to become No1 Contender for the RAW Tag Team titles.
However, the situation is unclear as The Monster Among Men could face The Bar in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match and could also team up with another RAW superstar.
According to Wrestling Inc, the 6 ft 8 in, 385 lb superstar could form an odd pairing with rival Elias.
The two men have been involved in a heated feud that has seen Strowman demolishing The Drifter in the first ever Symphony of Destruction Match.
The publisher and editor of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter Dave Meltzer claims everything is still open and the only one who knows what will happen with this match is WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.
Meltzer said: “Whether Strowman has a partner or not, Vince may know.
“Nobody else does, Vince is going to make that call.
“So people who are asking is it Handicap Match or is he going to pick a partner?
“The answer is that Vince hasn’t decided or at least he hasn’t told anybody or almost nobody because that is still up in the air.”
Strowman has taken the WWE by storm ever since leaving The Wyatt Family two years ago as he has beaten the likes of Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Big Show.
