Wladimir Klitschko retires: Former heavyweight champion's career in pictures

Former heavyweight champion Klitschko has decided to call time on his 21-year career, ending with a professional record of 64 wins and five defeats.

The 41-year-old’s last fight was against Anthony Joshua in April, with the British fighter knocking him out in the 11th round at a sold-out Wembley.

Klitschko had a rematch clause in the contract for the fight, but the 1996 Olympic super-heavyweight champion has and will instead bow out as one of the greats of the sport.
