The cruise ship was travelling from New York to the Caribbean when it faced the storm.
Rich Baker, the man who filmed the storm and worked on the cruise ship, captured the moment his porthole window was completely submerged by the huge waves.
Thankfully, the portholes are made to withstand the waves and no break under the strong pressure.
Despite this, it makes for a terrifying watch.
The Youtube video, which has since had nearly 300,000 views, shows the sea and the huge waves that the ship is attempting to navigate.
The rough seas are scary enough yet the ship appears to be steady.
Suddenly, the huge waves crash against the cruise ship window and completely submerge it, as the blue waves swirl around the window pane.
It continues to happen as the sea floats through the waves.
Youtube users admitted they would have been scared if they were in that position.
One wrote: “How were you not scared? This video gave me a mini heart attack!”
Others were put off going on a cruise entirely.
They commented: “I’m NEVER and I repeat NEVER going on a cruise.”
One cruise ship was caught tipping over whilst fighting the strong storms at sea.
It is seen tilting almost 180 degrees on its side in a stomach-churning video.
Luckily it rights itself and settles back to its normal position.
Filmed in 2005, online users were still terrified at the prospect of being on that particular ship.
