The cruise ship video shows the storm that it faced during a trip on the MS Romantika earlier this year.
It is filmed at night, showing the darkness that engulfed the ship during the horrendous weather.
The video then shows the wind and rain that hits the ship illuminated by the lighting.
The person filming is certainly brave to stay out on the decking.
Happening in the Baltic Sea, the huge surges attack the ship, rocking it as it fights to stay upright.
In one particularly heart-stopping moment, the person filming takes a step back into the ship to stay safe.
The camera ends after it looks back out into the eerie darkness of night, and the wind throws the wave spray against the rails.
The cruise ship manages to stay upright during the entire video.
The Youtube video has over 12,000 views since January this year, with users watching in fascination.
One wrote: “I’ve been in a worse storm on the same ship, it was cool and scary at the same time when our cabin was in the second highest cabin deck.”
Another user slightly missed the point when it came to the scary video.
They commented: “Huh, that was awesome in real life probably.”
A Riga magazine Baltic Course confirmed: “The storm broke the ferry’s radar antenna, which fell and shattered one of the ship’s front portholes.”
They also confirmed that the storm: “never posed any safety risks to the people,” as no-one was reported to be hurt.
It isn’t the first time a ship struggled against storms during a journey.
One ship was filmed tipping almost 180 degrees onto its side during rough seas.
