Virgin Trains launches seat SALE from just £4…including Manchester and Edinburgh

Recent news has announced the release of advance train tickets on sale just ten minutes before the train is due to depart, in a bid to keep fares low.

However, anyone travelling this summer has even better news if looking for a bargain.

Virgin Trains has announced their huge Summer Seat Sale, where over one million seats are on offer.

With many journeys now 50 per cent off, Britons should grab the reduced tickets if heading anywhere by train in the next few weeks

With seat fares starting at just £4, it’s a great saving for any families.

Some of the destinations include Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool and even Edinburgh.

Travellers heading to Birmingham from London can nab a seat for just £5, whilst a trip all the way to Glasgow will cost just £18.

However, the cheap fares will only be on offer from tomorrow until Tuesday 11 June.

The tickets will be valid until the 8th December, meaning events such as Liverpool Comedy Festival or Pride Glasgow can be attended without paying extortionate train fees.

Sarah Copley, Executive Director Commercial, for Virgin Trains on the West coast, said: “In our 20th year of Virgin Trains, our Summer Seat Sale means it’s even easier to jump on a train and enjoy the best the UK has to offer.

“With over 1 million seats on offer, you can make every day a holiday where you travel in style.”
