President Donald Trump shot down a veiled vision of peace offered by Iran’s president on Sunday to full-on threaten the Islamic Republic with historically epic confrontation — and it looks like his administration could potentially topple the country.

“To Iranian President Rouhani: NEVER, EVER THREATEN THE UNITED STATES AGAIN OR YOU WILL SUFFER CONSEQUENCES THE LIKES OF WHICH FEW THROUGHOUT HISTORY HAVE EVER SUFFERED BEFORE,” Trump tweeted.
