Transfer news LIVE: Arsenal readying bid, Hazard Chelsea decision, Man Utd, Liverpool

Aaron Ramsey update

Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey would not fit in at Barcelona – but a move to Juventus makes sense, ESPN FC pundit Shaka Hislop claims.

“I don’t see this working out at all in all honesty,” Hislop said.

“He was linked with Juventus last week, I thought that might have been a better fit.

“To Barcelona? No, I don’t see that one.”

Arsenal readying bid

Arsenal are ready to break the bank for Lille forward Nicolas Pepe.

Mercato365 claim the Gunners are desperate to sign the 23-year-old, with Unai Emery a big fan.

However, Arsenal face competition from Barcelona and Bayern Munich for the Ivory Coast international.

Pepe could be a replacement for Danny Welbeck, who is expected to leave the Emirates on a free transfer next summer.

Eden Hazard offer

Eden Hazard has been told to sign the new contract offer on the table by Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri.

“You know very well that Eden is very important for us, like every special player. He’s important for his club,” Sarri said.

“It’s up to him. The club is available to sign a new contract immediately, but it’s up to him if he wants to renew or not.

“I want Eden here, of course, but I want him here if he wants to stay here.”

Paul Pogba to leave Man Utd update

Manchester United staff members reckon Paul Pogba wants to leave the club.

The Daily Mail claim Mourinho’s staff suspect Pogba’s latest struggles are down to a desire to leave.

Barcelona and Juventus are eyeing the France international ahead of the January window.

Reports emerged last weekend that Mourinho labelled Pogba a ‘virus’ in a stunning dressing room bust-up.

Fabinho on Liverpool exit

Fabinho has rebuffed rumours he will leave Liverpool in the January transfer window.

“I was told there was something in the press,” he told UOL about rumours linking him with PSG.

“But I never said I’d like to leave Liverpool.

“I knew I would need to have the patience to wait for my moment. I’m happy at Liverpool. There is no reason for me to leave.”
