The live children’s show visits London’s ExCel from tomorrow until Thursday with TV characters including Fireman Sam, the Octonauts and Peppa Pig. Rediscover your green fingers at the RHS Autumn Garden Show at the Lawrence and Lindley Halls in London from Tuesday to Thursday. RHS floral artist 

in residence, Electric Daisy Flower Farm, takes centre stage at the seasonal event, which celebrates all things floral with workshops, advice and talks from horticultural experts. Find your favourite plants, bulbs and accessories from hand-picked exhibitors and transform your garden for autumn. Tickets cost £5 to £9.

It’s nearly Halloween, so what better excuse to embrace all things spooky? Brave souls 

of all ages are invited to celebrate Halloween at Warwick Castle: The Haunted Castle until October 31. Step inside the ancient towers to explore the dreadful dungeons and lose yourself in the Horrible Histories maze. There’s fun for tiny tots, too, with giggly ghost tales in the Witches Tower. Plan a day trip or stay until late to summon spirits after dark. Tickets cost from £12.

Whether you’re  a fan of Christmas or not, it’s a good excuse to visit the theatre. Theatre Royal Bath is hosting the  thrilling play Christmas Eve  with Niamh Cusack playing a philosophy professor who is detained by the police on her way to celebrate Christmas. 

In the interrogation room, she goes head to head with a relentless officer played by Patrick Baladi.The play runs at the Ustinov Studio until November 18 with tickets from £22.50.
