Non-league minnows Sutton are hosting Premier League giants Arsenal this evening in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
And along with a match on a 3G pitch, Arsenal will also enjoy some very basic changing rooms when they visit Gander Green Lane!
Arsenal come into the game on the back of their big Champions League defeat to Bayern Munich and the pressure is on Arsene Wenger to avoid an upset.
Wenger is expected to shake things up with his side but will still name a ‘strong’ team.
Rob Holding, Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Jeff Reine-Adelaide are set to play but there will not be a host of changes.
Sutton have made it this far after wins over AFC Wimbledon and Leeds in the third and fourth round.
Should they upset the odds and beat Arsenal they will face non-league Lincoln, who stunned Burnley on Saturday.
But Arsenal will be keen to get to grips with the occasions as soon as possible and see the game out without much fuss.
David Ospina is expected to play in goal and he believes the need to work out the 3G surface.
“I think that’s the tricky part, because we’re not used to playing on that kind of pitch,” Ospina told Arsenal Player.
“It affects [goalkeepers] a bit because it’s a harder pitch and we’re not used to the surface, but that’s what we’ve got and we have to get on with it.
“I think it’s important to respect every opponent.
“We will continue to do our job because we want to advance in the competition – that’s the mentality we need to have.
“They will be the home side and they’ll be desperate to perform well, so our concentration has to be at 100 per cent.
“We know that they have nothing to lose and a whole lot to gain, so that’s why we have to make sure we’re on our game.”
