Cricket: Former Australia batsman Mike Hussey says he would be ‘surprised’ if the match fixing allegations directed towards Australia are true.

STEVE Smith plans on crushing England’s slim hopes of retaining the Ashes urn before the end of this week, noting a whitewash is still very much on the horizon.
Smith feels Australia are beautifully positioned to claim the Ashes in Perth and that England may only be a handful of bad sessions away from defeat. But the Australian captain is reinforcing to his players that it’s not over until it’s over.
“For us, the message I’ve said to the boys is don’t get complacent.”
Rolling back the covers to a hard, fast and bouncy wicket could change Australia’s thinking this morning on the final Aussie XI but it is likely that Peter Handscomb will make way for all-rounder Mitchell Marsh.
The tourists have named an unchanged XI but are likely to tweak their batting order and elevate wicketkeeper Jonny Bairstow to number six.
The game is set to get underway at 1:30pm (AEDT).
