What It Is: The latest spy photos of the upcoming 2019 Cadillac XT4 subcompact crossover. Now devoid of the loose camouflage it wore when our photogs last snagged some shots, the XT4’s take on the brand’s sharp styling is more clear. A Cadillac crest—obscured only by gaffer tape—resides front and center on the scalloped mesh grille; the lower grille, which seems to be positioned to allow air to flow over an intercooler, is likely not a production piece. A version of Cadillac’s vertical taillamp treatment is integrated to the C-pillars. The biggest takeaway from this new set of photos involves a seam separating a section of bodywork directly below the front doors, which may indicate power deployable running boards/steps.
