- Malian man who climbed a Paris building to save a child has been given honorary French citizenship by President Emmanuel Macron.
- Footage emerged of Mamoudou Gassama climbing the outside of a building in the French capital to rescue the child, who had fallen from a balcony.
- Gassama was invited to the Elysee Palace by President Macron, and given a medal for courage.
The Malian migrant who scaled four-storeys up a building to rescue a dangling toddler has been named an honorary French citizen after meeting with the president, Emmanuel Macron said.
