Rosie MacLennan returned to the top of the trampoline podium Saturday at the Canadian gymnastics championships in Oshawa, Ont.
The defending Olympic champion from King City, Ont., finished with a total of 158.735 points to fend off Samantha Smith of B.C., who had 156.170 points. Quebec’s Sophiane Methot was third with 155.280.
A visiting Australian contingent dominated on the men’s side with a sweep of the top-four spots.
However, they can’t force Canadians out of the standings, giving Ontario’s Jacob Cranham first with 159.780. Alberta’s Kyle Soehn was the runner-up with 156.795 and B.C.’s Andrew Martin trailed with 156.220.
