Real Madrid Transfer News LIVE updates: Man Utd De Gea claim, Zidane hopeful on Arsenal

REAL MADRID TRANSFER NEWS LIVE: MAN UTD TALKS FOR DE GEA, ZIDANE WANTS ARSENAL TO SELL SANCHEZ TO MAN CITY

Tuesday July 25

6:30: Real Madrid have lost Alvaro Morata to Chelsea.

But the Spain international is raring to go over at Stamford Bridge – and is delighted at being handed the No9 shirt.

“When I was little I watched with my dad and it is incredible, a lot of goals and fast matches and I really want to play here,” Morata told the club’s official website.

“When I was little I saw Didier Drogba, Andriy Shevchencko, Fernando Torres and thought probably in a few years I will take this place, and now it is the dream to take the Chelsea number 9 shirt.

“I can’t wait to play at Stamford Bridge and in the Premier League.”

6:15: Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane wants Manchester City to seal a deal for Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez.

That’s according to Don Balon, who say the Frenchman is concerned about Los Blancos’ efforts to sign Monaco hitman Kylian Mbappe.

Real want Mbappe but City do too.

However, Zidane is hopeful Arsenal will sell Sanchez to Pep Guardiola and leave his side free to sign Mbappe.

6:00: Reports in Spain are claiming Manchester United and Real Madrid are having secret chats about David De Gea.

In a story that just will not go away, Diario Gol claim both clubs are locked in talks.

However, any formalising of a potential deal will come after the two clubs do battle in the European Super Cup on August 8.

De Gea also supposedly wants assurances he will be No1 – something that could spell trouble for poor old, never quite De Gea, Keylor Navas.

5:45: Good morning and welcome to Express Sport’s LIVE Real Madrid transfer blog.

Zinedine Zidane’s side are again being linked with Manchester United’s David De Gea.

And Monaco hitman Kylian Mbappe’s future is also set to be discussed.

So sit back and stay tuned for all the latest dealings from the Bernabeu.
