Man Utd want Bale more than Perisic
07:30: Manchester United would prefer to sign Gareth Bale from Real Madrid over Ivan Perisic.
Inter Milan’s star winger has been targeted all summer as United have looked to strike a deal.
They have so far, though, been left frustrated in their pursuit.
While Express Sport understands Jose Mourinho is ready to make a £90m move for Bale next summer, The Telegraph claim Bale would be a priority now ahead of Perisic.
United could turn their attention to the Wales international, but Madrid would likely want a replacement lined up first such as Kylian Mbappe.
Ronaldo calls off Mbappe move
07:00: Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly expressed concerns to Real Madrid president Florentino Perez about a deal for Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe.
Spanish outlet Diario Gol have sensationally claimed Ronaldo has held talks with Perez about a potential £161million deal.
It is said he fears the arrival of the 18-year-old will hamper his chances of winning the Ballon d’Or further down the line.
And he is also worried that a transfer for Mbappe could force him out of Zinedine Zidane’s side.
The France international is respectful of Ronaldo’s high status at the club given all he has achieved during his eight years in Spain.
But the Monaco prodigy feels he is well-positioned to usurp the Portuguese should a move go ahead.
Ronaldo and Messi exits feared over Neymar
06:30: Neymar’s impending departure from Barcelona does not worry La Liga president Javier Tebas.
But Lionel Messi quitting Spain or Cristiano Ronaldo leaving Real Madrid would.
When questioned on the potential commercial and financial impact on both Barcelona and La Liga that could stem from losing such a global superstar, Tebas, 54, told Spanish newspaper Marca: “La Liga and Barcelona are bigger than Neymar.
“I would be more worried if Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi left.”
Ronaldo appeared to be ready to quit Madrid earlier this summer amid his tax fraud allegations, but he is now set to stay put.
