Real Madrid Transfer News: Barca striker battle, Man Utd deal shock, Bundesliga star keen

Real Madrid are plotting a huge swap deal for Juventus striker Paulo Dybala, according to reports.

Italian newspaper Leggo claim the La Liga side are prepared to let Alvaro Morata return to Turin in order to seal the deal.

Barcelona are also said to be showing interest in Dybala but could be put off by his staggering £107million price-tag.

The 23-year-old has made 32 appearances for Juve this season, scoring 14 goals and providing seven assists.

Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper Bern Leno has admitted he is delighted to have been linked with a move to Real Madrid.

“It honours you when you are linked with Real,” Leno told German sports magazine Kicker.

“But I want to fully focus on Leverkusen.”

Leno is said to be a back-up plan for Real should they fail to sign Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois or Manchester United’s David de Gea this summer.

And Real’s move for De Gea could be hanging by a thread, according to the Daily Mail.

It is said the United goalkeeper does not have a £52m release clause – contrary to reports that it was included in his four-year contract in 2015.

The Red Devils can therefore set the transfer fee for the Spain international, potentially pricing Zinedine Zidane’s side out of the deal.

De Gea came close to joining Real Madrid in August 2015 but the paperwork was not finalised before the transfer deadline had passed.
