On the board! Mooy masterclass helps Terriers win ‘six-pointer’

AARON Mooy’s Huddersfield have leapt off the bottom of the English Premier League table with a drought-breaking 1-0 home win over fellow cellar-dwellers Fulham.

In his 100th game for the Terriers, the Socceroo was influential from midfield as Christopher Schindler’s 29th-minute back-post header was deflected into the net by Timothy Fosu-Mensah which snapped a scoreless 658-minute streak at John Smith’s Stadium.

It proved to be the match winner as Huddersfield climbed to 18th, remaining in the relegation zone on goal difference.
