Head coach Unai Emery has had to step in and settle the argument between two of his star players.
Cavani and Neymar came to blows during the 2-0 victory against Lyon in September over who would take free-kicks and penalties.
It was reported after the game the the Ligue 1 outfit had offered Cavani €1million (£892,000) to take a step back and let the Brazilian take over.
The club vastly deny those reports but manager Emery has now switched his set-piece duties around.
PSG beat Nantes 4-1 yesterday, with Cavani bagging a brace, to extend their lead at the top of the table to six points.
But after the game the Uruguayan revealed that he has been stripped of some of his responsibilities.
“The coach has decided that Neymar will take the next penalty,” Cavani said.
”We played a great game today. We knew we could put another two points between ourselves and Monaco.
“That meant we were super focused on getting this result tonight. We weren’t thinking about next weekend’s match against Monaco.
“We were purely focused on winning tonight.
“We want to keep winning. We have a lot of matches still to play this season.
“We are concentrating on improving, adding to our lead. I’m happy to score. It’s always great for a striker to score goals and help his team. I hope we continue like this.”
