Man Utd vs Chelsea LIVE updates: Latest Premier League action from Old Trafford
Manchester United welcome Chelsea to Old Trafford in the Premier League.
As if Chelsea coming up against their most successful manager was not enough of an interesting narrative, today also sees Jose Mourinho renew hostilities with Antonio Conte.
This is the first match since a public war of words that saw the managers sling mud at one another in January.
Liverpool cranked up the pressure on their top-four rivals by thrashing West Ham 4-1 to move up to second in the Premier League table.
The victory leaves Jurgen Klopp’s side a point ahead of third-placed United, who themselves are a single point above fourth-placed Chelsea.

MANCHESTER UNITED 1-1 CHELSEA
HT: And that’s the half-time whistle. Chelsea played the more expansive football and got their reward with a fine strike from Willian.
But Manchester United’s dogged determination got them back into the game with a smart finish from Romelu Lukaku.
Poised nicely for the second half. Very nicely indeed.
46: Romelu Lukaku has scored 13 goals in the Premier League this season, however this was his first against a team currently in the top eight.

45: Two minutes added time here folks. Barely time to breathe with both sides wanting a second before the break.
43: More danger for Manchester United to deal with before the break as Willian stands over a free-kick. He clips it in for Morata, who fails to get a touch.
40: What a game! Azpilicueta plays a cute ball through to Hazard who cuts inside but passes to Alonso instead of shooting. The Spaniard does get an effort away which he scoops over.
MANCHESTER UNITED 1-1 CHELSEA – LUKAKU
38: “He can’t score against top six opposition…” Yes, yes he can.
Manchester United are level inside six minutes as Romelu Lukaku nets against his former club.
It’s a lovely team goal with Sanchez playing in Martial, who tees up Lukaku to slot home the equaliser.
35: Willian has been directly involved in 19 goals in all competitions for Chelsea this season (12 goals and seven assists); his most in a single campaign for the Blues.

33: Just looking at the opener again, and it’s Lindelof who just kept backing off and backing off Hazard in the build-up. De Gea will also be frustrated at being beaten at his near post.
MANCHESTER UNITED 0-1 CHELSEA – WILLIAN
31: That Alexis Sanchez miss is looking more serious now as Willian makes the breakthrough.
It all started with Pogba failing to win an aerial challenge with Victor Moses.
Hazard collected the loose ball and threaded it through to Willian, who rifles it past De Gea.
30: Kante has no option but to trip Pogba once his compatriot nipped past him. Young delivers an out-swinger into the area but nobody could meet McTominay’s knock-down.
29: Old Trafford in stunned silence after seeing Alexis Sanchez squander a golden opportunity. The Chilean took a touch from Martial’s pass but couldn’t get a clean contact on the strike and it was easy for Courtois.
Why didn’t he hit it first time?! Should be 1-0.

28: Martial looks to play a quick one-two with Lukaku but the Belgian’s return pass is about three-yards in the wrong direction.
United suddenly given some encouragement as one or two Chelsea passes go astray.
26: Manchester United have picked up where they left off against Sevilla midweek. Everything’s slow, lethargic and quite uninspiring. Fans starting to get a bit restless.
23: Friends?! Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte look like bezzies in the technical area at the moment. Couple of smiles and laughs between the pair. Awww, innit sweet…
21: Hazard floats an in-swinger into the area but nobody’s there to meet it.
Quite interesting to see how advanced Alonso is today. He’s virtually alongside Morata.
18: Moses is looking like a good outlet for Chelsea this afternoon. He’s always free on the right-hand side with Young struggling to keep tabs on him.
15: Alexis Sanchez is drifting inside to see more of the ball in the early stages. Chelsea doubling up on the Chilean. I’d triple up on him is I had my way…

13: Morata bundles Pogba over just outside the Chelsea penalty area. This could be a big moment… or not. The ball is floated straight back to Courtois.
10: Manchester United have been better since Morata’s early chance. They’ve certainly seen more of the ball but are yet to create anything noteworthy.
8: It appears the honour of man-marking Eden Hazard has fallen to young Scott McTominay. He lost him for the rebound just now but he’s stuck to the Belgian like glue since.
6: OOOF! It’s been all Chelsea so far, and they nearly made the breakthrough. Morata rattles the crossbar after connecting with Alonso’s cross. De Gea tips over Hazard’s rebound.
3: An early corner for the Blues won by Victor Moses. It’s a training-ground routine that Matic quickly snuffs out before Morata could loop around and convert.
1: And we’re off! It’s a glorious afternoon in Manchester with the sun shining down on Old Trafford. And for those wondering, Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho just shared a frosty handshake in the technical area.

MIND GAMES
14:03: Jose Mourinho made sure he shook hands with every Chelsea player in the tunnel. Softening them up, Jose?
AFTERNOON
14:00: Welcome to our LIVE coverage of Manchester United vs Chelsea from Old Trafford.
We’re ridiculously tight on time today after Tottenham’s late win over Crystal Palace ensured they leapfrogged Chelsea into fourth position.
There’s around five minutes until kick off with the players ready in the tunnel. No Keane vs Viera stand-off as far as I can see. In fact, Martial and Willian just hugged.
I’m not a fan of the friendliness going on here…
