That’s the view of Sanchez’s United team mate Phil Jones, who believes the Chilean will show the added side to his game in an attempt to beat his former club.
Sanchez moved to Old Trafford from Arsenal in January though has struggled to regularly hit the heights for Manchester United.
The attacker has come to the fore more in recent weeks and netted the equaliser as the Red Devils beat Tottenham in last week’s FA Cup semi-final.
Now they host Arsenal on Sunday (4.30pm) and Jones believes Sanchez will add an extra edge to his play.
“Not so much at home,” Jones told MUTV when asked if it will be a weird occasion for Sanchez.
“I think, if it was away at the Emirates, it might be a bit different.
“Going back to a place where he’s very fond of, knows the pitch well and the fans well.
“So, at home, it’s a little bit different but he will still get that added incentive to try to put one over on them.”
Sunday’s encounter will be the first time Sanchez has faced his former club.
Manchester United beat Arsenal 3-1 in December with goalkeeper David de Gea performing heroics to earn his side the three points.
Jesse Lingard bagged a brace in that game while United midfielder Paul Pogba was sent off.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who moved to the Emirates as part of the Sanchez deal, will not feature having injured his knee.
