United returned to winning ways this evening with a 1-0 victory over Bournemouth after their defeat to Manchester City at the weekend.
But Pep Guardiola’s side continued their incredible run of form with their 15 consecutive league win by beating Swansea 4-0.
It means City currently hold an 11-point lead over their arch-rivals halfway through the season.
Antonio Conte already conceded defeat in the race for the title this week.
But Mourinho has refused to join his counterpart in suggesting the fight is already over.
And he mockingly stated he would have already booked his holiday to either Brazil or America if he thought otherwise.
“I said we play match after match and the next we have to try to win,” Mourinho told Match of the Day.
“We have a difficult one at West Brom and we try match after match.
“It is only over in May, if it is over now I go on holiday to Brazil or Los Angeles.”
United will look to keep the pressure in City this weekend when they take on West Brom on Sunday (2:15pm).
