Manchester United have been tipped to sign Vidal in the summer with the player’s Bayern Munich future up in the air.
The Bundesliga giants landed Leon Goretzka from Schalke last month, with the midfielder’s move becoming official in the summer.
As a result, Vidal could be shown the door with reports saying Manchester United want to field him alongside Paul Pogba in the middle of the park.
Pogba’s form has tailed off and Jose Mourinho supposedly feels Vidal is the ticket to getting him back on track.
But Sanchez has apparently clashed with Vidal.
The duo are team-mates for Chile and have helped the South American country win the Copa America in 2015 and 2016.
Yet all is not well behind the scenes, according to Faustino Asprilla.
Apsrilla claims Sanchez is still seething at Vidal for getting drunk and crashing his car during the Copa America in 2015.
And with Chile missing out on a place in this year’s World Cup, tensions are said to have arisen.
Asprilla told La Cuarta: “The Chilean players believed that with little effort it would be enough to qualify.
“In some way it was an excess of confidence, they said ‘we are fourth and they five qualify’. Then, they saw each other with the rope around their necks.
“But, honestly, I don’t know how the dressing room of Chile will be.
“From outside it is said that there are two sides, Alexis’ friends against Vidal’s friends, and those differences take their toll.”
