Liverpool midfielder to leave Anfield: Premier League rivals keen on deal

Stewart, 23, has struggled to nail down a first-team place at under Jurgen Klopp – making just four appearances this season.

And the Sky Sports claim he will leave Liverpool at the end of the campaign in search of regular first-team football.

It is claimed Stoke, newly-promoted Brighton, relegated Sunderland and Burnley are all chasing Stewart’s signature as they look to bolster their ranks ahead of next season.

Championship sides Norwich, Aston Villa and Derby are also said to be keeping tabs on Stewart.

Stewart joined Liverpool from Tottenham in 2014 and impressed enough to earn a contract extension at Anfield last season, which keeps him at the club until 2021.

But it seems as if he has wants to call time on his Anfield career after growing frustrated at his lack of opportunities.

Stewart has enjoyed loan spells at Cheltenham, Burton Albion and Swindon during his time at Liverpool.
