The Cavs recorded their eighth victory on the bounce after seeing off the 76ers 113-91.
James was pivotal once again, as he weighed in with 30 points, 13 rebounds and six assists.
His team-mate Kyle Korver wrote himself into the NBA annals after reaching the milestone of 2,100 career three-pointers.
And James thinks there have been two key ingredients to the Cavs’ amazing run.
“Our resolve and resilience has made me very proud,” James said.
“We have been very resilient in this streak.
“The team has made runs whether we were at home or on the road and we stayed the course.
“We stuck with the game plan and that has allowed us to win eight straight.
“If we continue to do that, we have a tough game against Miami who have been playing some great basketball so looking forward to it.”
James also paid tribute to the bench, adding: “Our bench has been phenomenal especially on this streak we had.
“When they made a run at the start, the bench pushed the lead back up.
“When they made a run at the start of the third quarter, the bench pushed the lead back up.”
The Cavs are back in action against Miami Heat tomorrow.
