HULKING former Hawk Jason Dunstall was never one to mess with on the field.
And it was the same on Tuesday night when a heckler appeared to dispute his 1992 Coleman Medal tally during the Full-On Footy Tour.
Dunstall proved he was not one to be reckoned with. “It’s 145. I think I know,” he laughed, offering the challenger a sportsman’s bet.
It was just one of many highlights on Day 5 of the Herald Sun Foxtel Full-On Footy Tour which stopped in Bendigo at the Sandhurst Football Netball Club, the home of many AFL greats including Joel Selwood.
Selwood came in for scrutiny at the event, held on the same day the TAC relinquished its sponsorship of Geelong Football Club following his driving indiscretion.

A packed function room heard first from the Herald Sun’s Jon Anderson and later from Fox Footy’s Dunstall and Danny Frawley, who co-host Bounce on Sundays.
The event helped raise thousands of dollars for the club.
“Grassroots footy is so important for local communities; it’s the social fabric of what makes a good country town, it brings everyone together,” said Frawley.
Dunstall added: “We all started in grassroots footy. I was a five-year-old in Brisbane playing under 7s so you need those clubs that nurture all the good talent all the way through. It keeps us interested, makes us want to continue to play until we somehow find our way through to the seniors.
“I think you learn a lot at a footy club — you do, and probably most team sports, you learn a hell of a lot in terms of interaction, just social wellbeing. I think it does enormous things for kids and most kids should be placed in a team environment at some stage, just to learn those skills I think.”
Frawley said the night was a huge success. “We (had) a lot of fun, mostly at each other’s expense,” he said.
